FEP (Teflon)

FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) or 'Teflon' is the preferred tubing for soil vapor gas intrusion sampling. Its high temperature threshold and resistance to chemicals and other VOCs make FEP Teflon a leading choice for environmental applications. FEP does not contain PFAS or PFOA so it can be used on On PFOA / PFOS sensitive sites. FEP Teflon is approved by the DTSC for all soil gas sampling. Also used as lift or lead tubing for groundwater pumps, well developers, and foot valves where high temperatures or harsh VOCs are occurring.
